Clinicaurbana took part in the summer workshop WAVE 2013 organised by IUAV University of Venice in partnership with Venice City Council and Pellicciani Foundation. The goal of the design exercise was to devise a process for colonising the abandoned structures of Porto Marghera industrial area. Students were asked to act as clients and designers; every team designed a small scale intervention, which are put together to form a set of micro-projects and micro-events. The outcome of the workshop was part of the exhibition “Future Marghera. Proposals for the transformation of an industrial area” held at the VEGA, VEniceGAteway for Science and Technology in Mestre.
