Clinicaurbana are appointed to design the extension of a 1985 villa. The building’s features and the articulated edge drawn by the perimetral walls suggest to juxtapose a simple concrete volume with a flat roof. The volume adapts to the boundary of the existing building and creates a connection to its spaces and installations. On the street’s side, three different openings give rhythm to the long exposed aggregate concrete wall. On the opposite side, at the junction with villa, a void in the new volume encloses a sheltered parking space and establishes the connection between the two architectures.
