The functional surface of the concrete soffit dominates the rooms by inverting the hierarchy of weights. The horizontal plane counteracts the neatness of the vertical wooden panel that from the living area bends and continues into the corridor-container of the bedrooms area. At the threshold between the two sectors, the edges of the panel warp, marking the junction with the walls and the floor. From here, several profiles tortuously thread along the project lines on the ground, intercepting domestic equipment and furniture items, accurate personal counterweights in the architectural space. The eye lingers, chasing the profiles in a “delirium of detail”.
